  • Fold the beading thread (or stringing wire) in half.
  • Fold the elastic cord in half, then thread the folded beading thread through the loop of the folded elastic cord.
  • Use the beading thread to string the beads onto the elastic cord.
  • String the beads (which you have already arranged in the desired order) one by one onto the beading thread.
  • Separate the two strands of elastic cord at one end, and pass the other end (the looped end that is still together) through the separated strands.
  • Hold the two strands of elastic cord tightly at one end, then pull the beads firmly toward the junction where the two cords meet.
  • Tie three tight knots with the two strands of elastic cord.
  • Cut off the excess cord, leaving about 5 mm of tail. Pull the 5 mm tail into the last bead to hide it.
